Siebe, Gorman & Co Ltd is a British manufacturer of recreational diving equipment, incorporated in the United Kingdom in 2025. We design, specify and bring to market scuba and snorkel equipment for sport divers, instructors and clubs. We are not a high-street shop.

The historic Siebe Gorman company helped shape underwater engineering. This archive honours that record and publishes it with care. Medals and helmets shown here are historical objects, not products for sale.

What we make is recreational. What we study is professional. Working and naval diving still sets a high bar for gas management, thermal protection, communications and time underwater. We take that discipline and build equipment a sport diver can travel with, train with and service. We do not manufacture commercial helmets or saturation systems.

Design authority stays with us. Life-support — regulators, first stages, valves and any item that keeps a diver breathing — is specified by this company and certified to the rules of the markets we sell into, including CE and UKCA where required. We do not put a name on a breathing system we have not taken through that process.

We manufacture internationally. Precision design, testing and brand sit in the United Kingdom. Production is placed with specialists where the work is done well: Europe and North America for much certified breathing-system architecture and instrumentation; Asia for materials, exposure garments, masks, fins, lighting, travel electronics and volume manufacture. China and the wider region are strong in those fields. They are not presented here as the source of every underwater invention. Country of make is stated. Nothing is hidden behind the heritage name.

Equipment is built for British coasts and for warm water: dependable, serviceable, clearly specified. The range covers regulators, buoyancy, exposure protection, masks and fins, instruments, and travel equipment.
